FROM GLOBAL GOALS TO EVERYDAY GOALS

Our world and its resources are under sustained pressure

… and we are dealing with it. We must be part of the solution and not the problem, which is why we have started
the ALPI Go Green project with specific and high ambitions moving toward 2030. We focus on reducing our
climate footprint, developing green solutions and ensuring and maintaining healthy staff with high well-being.

WE ARE WORKING HARD TO
REDUCE OUR CO2 EMISSIONS

Reduce & optimise

Our first step is to work on
minimising CO2 emissions through
energy efficiency improvements
and optimisations, etc.

Innovate

The next step is to work purposefully
with innovation and green solutions
including new technologies and fuels

Compensate

We will compensate for the CO2
emissions that we currently cannot
reduce further with selected, recognised
and certified compensation projects

2030 AMBITIONS

Our route toward a smaller climate footprint, more responsible transport and logistics, more green solutions, and more social sustainability has already started and is based on three specific Global Goals.

WE HAVE FULL FOCUS ON CO2
REDUCTION MEASURES

Transport affects the environment - a lot. We are part of an industry that needs
to focus more on minimising the environmental impact. Denmark has probably
the world’s strictest environmental requirements, and of course, we comply
with them. However, we go several steps further with the  ALPI Go Green project.

Over the last few years, we have increased our efforts towards more
sustainable initiatives within ALPI and externally regarding our partners and suppliers.

We are happy to advise our customers on the options for CO2 reducing
transport and logistics, just as during 2022, we will provide CO2
footprints/emissions on all transport shipments on invoices from ALPI
(excluding courier shipments).

At our locations, we use green electricity, reduce food waste and energy usage,
and will be CO2 neutral in 2022.

We use something other than fossil fuels for our transport where possible,
but that journey is still in its infancy. The entire transport industry is waiting for
“non-fossil fuels” that can be used for heavy transport on a global scale and
which are commercially fit for use. So, currently, there is not one shortcut to
greener road transport but several routes to the goal.
