climate footprint, developing more green solutions and ensuring and maintaining healthy staff with high well-being.

2030 AMBITIONS

Our ambitions in ALPI Go Green are based on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on social sustainability, reduction of our CO2 emissions, creation of innovative greener solutions and projects.

2020 is the baseline and base year for the targets and ambitions below.

ATTENTIONS ON
CO2-REDUCING ACTIONS

Transport accounts for almost 30% of the EU's total CO2 emissions, and as an industry we are a part of the problem. With the ALPI Go Green strategy, we hope that we can become part of the solution.

The times call for inner and outer transition. The ability to see the opportunities in a constantly changing world.

A top priority at ALPI has been the development of a CO2 calculator, which provides transparent and valid data to our customers on the individual transports. An effective tool that meets the increasing reporting requirements. The development took place in collaboration with Aarhus University, Center for Energy Technologies.

We are happy to guide our customers on options within CO2-reducing transport and logistics, and we are constantly looking for new solutions. Through our ESG network, we share knowledge about ESG, the fossil-free future and the green transition in the transport industry with customers and business partners.

At our own locations, we work to minimize CO2 emissions through energy efficiency and optimization. We are today CO2-neutral at all our locations, i.e. because we use green electricity, switch to LED lighting and have reduced the consumption of natural gas and oil.

In the coming years, we will see a restructuring and transformation of the transport industry. But with orderliness, consideration, and willingness to change, we are well equipped at ALPI.
