ALPI STRIVES FOR INCLUSIVENESS AND DEVELOPMENT
This applies to our interaction with other people both within and outside the company
We take our social responsibility very seriously. This applies internally to our HR policy where we naturally take responsibility for training young people as well as permanent or hired employees with special needs. This also applies externally where we by means of sponsorships support the development of both elite and non-elite sports and, last but not least, we pave the way for new sports activities for people with mental disabilities.
We focus on inclusiveness and give everyone an opportunity to develop on their own terms.
We are supporting and involved in elite and non-elite sports as well as in social sponsorships. Not as a triad - but as a coherent and valuable trinity.
When we sponsor an elite club, it undertakes to make a special effort to integrate people with mental disabilities and give them great experiences. This has led to more new sports opportunities on premises intended for people with mental disabilities. There should be no doubt that this type of sponsorship has a special place in our hearts.
CAMPAIGNS THAT MAKE A CLEAR DIFFERENCE
Heavy truck traffic can be a danger to other road users. Therefore, we have a responsibility to ensure that our drivers act carefully and safely on the road, minimising the danger and nuisance they pose.
We have carried out a campaign aiming to prevent right-turn accidents that typically have an adverse impact on vulnerable road users.
In another campaign, we have focused on how to avoid accidents caused by chunks of ice flying off from the roofs of trucks. As a result of our de-icing campaign, ALPI now has a permanent de-icing station that drivers must use in frosty weather.
